This in turn makes the skin very soft and also helps in regaining back its natural glow. When the skin becomes dry then it cannot be stretched and when it gets stretched due to various body movements then it tears away rather being stretched. Moisturizers and cream regains this property of the skin when applied to the skin. As it returns back the water content of the outer layer of the skin i.e. epidermis, the skin expands when it is stretched. Though various creams and moisturizers are available in the market still there are many natural elements which are used to make homemade moisturizers. Many people prefer homemade moisturizers and creams over the ones that are available in the market.

Well moisturizers and creams are the ones that are to be applied on the external parts of the skin. For the internal parts that are more delicate like the sexual organs which are also affected during the winter season there are special substances named lubricants. Lubricants are the ones that are applied on the sexual organs so as to maintain the smoothness and softness of the same and to avoid irritation. Application of creams and moisturizers in those places is not advisable and should be avoided.
